NLB Razvojna banka opened today its 66th operating unit in market center «Tržnica» in Banjaluka. New business office has been equipped with most modern equipment and offers all kinds of banking services. NLB Razvojna banka operates with the biggest operating network on the territory of the Republika Srpska.
Expansion of business network will be further continued in cities all over Republika Srpska, and the Bank is planning to open two more business units on the territory of Banjaluka city.

Neto balance sum of NLB Razvojne banka amounts to KM 1,1 billion, loan portfolio KM 445 million, and deposits KM 945 million. The Bank has 500 employees.

Pursuant to the Decision of the Banking Agency of Republika Srpska on unique calculation and presenting of effective interest rate for loans and deposits (Official Gazzete of Republika Srpska no. 3/2007), NLB Razvojna banka a.d. Banja Luka made calculation of effective interest rate for loans and deposits.

Diode laser and operating microscope are the new instruments at the Ophthalmology Clinic of Clinical Center Banja Luka, for which NLB Razvojna banka a.d. Banja Luka donated BAM 30.000, while the remaining amount was donated by Government of Republika Srpska and a team of Swedish doctors.

Medical Issues Assistant to the Director at the Clinical Center Banja Luka, Mr. Brane Topic said, that these are the modern instruments neccessary for surgical interventions.

He also added that diode laser is one of the most up-to-date in the world, used for interventions for diabetic retinopathy and other eye desease.

Head of Ophthalmology Clinic at Clinical Center Banja Luka, Nenad Macanovic said that these two apparatus are of extreme importance for everyday practice in the Clinic and reminded thet up to now 70 percent of patients, due to lack of diode laser used to go to medical institutions ouside of Republika Srpska.
